GUEST WORSHIP LEADER

DAVID SANTISTEVAN
Beyond Sunday Worship

David Santistevan has been involved in worship ministry since middle school where he pretended to know how to play worship keys in his youth group. After that rough start, he eventually started to play drums, actual worship keys, guitar, and lead worship. Today he is a Senior Associate at Slingshot Group where he helps coach leaders and help churches find staff. He served as the Worship Pastor at Allison Park Church in Pittsburgh for 12 years and continues to lead worship today. He also founded Beyond Sunday Worship, a popular podcast for worship leaders. He has interviewed over 300 guests, including Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Brian & Jenn Johnson, Martin Smith, Kari Jobe, Louie Giglio, and other leaders and artists. He is married to Emily and they have two kids, Tyler and Eliana. They spent the last 5 years traveling the USA in a motorhome leading worship & workshops, coaching teams, drinking too much coffee, and eating Mexican food. They now reside in Orlando, Florida.

WORKSHOPS

Effective Recruiting & Onboarding for Your Worship Team - Sarah McAtee
Prayer Room
This workshop will focus on strategies for recruiting and onboarding worship volunteers, emphasizing the importance of building a welcoming and supportive environment. It will cover practical tips for identifying potential volunteers, communicating the vision and expectations clearly, and providing adequate training and support. Participants will also learn how to create an onboarding process that fosters engagement, commitment, and spiritual growth.

Leading from Overflow - Ben & Kelli Brownlee
Worship Center
This workshop will focus on teaching participants how to lead from the overflow, both practically and spiritually. Practically, we’ll talk about tools to sharpen your gifts and some practice strategies to grow your skill. Spiritually, we will discuss habits to cultivate a love for God’s Word, the importance of leading from identity over ability, and the significance of guarding the atmosphere and carrying the vision.

Tips for Leading Productive Rehearsals - David Santistevan
Room 2/4
We all know rehearsal is important. But for worship teams in 2025, what is the best way to use that time? Is it a place of musical development or spiritual discipleship? Do we need to run the same songs over and over again? How long should it be? With the use of multitracks, rehearsal mix, and personal practice, is rehearsal even necessary for worship teams today? All this and more will be covered in this rehearsal workshop. While you may not leave with a step by step template that works for every worship team, you'll learn how to think differently about your rehearsals, and empower your team in a fresh way.

How to Prepare Well - Luke Walden
Fellowship Hall
Leading worship effectively begins long before the first note is played. During the breakout, we’ll explore practical strategies and spiritual disciplines that equip us as worship leaders to prepare well—mentally, spiritually, and musically. Discover how intentional preparation creates space for God to move and enables you to lead with confidence.

We Aren't Meant To Be A Cover Band: Getting Back to the Main Thing - Adam Brock
Super Church
How can singers and instrumentalists take someone else's worship song and make it a genuine, personal expression of praise? Drawing from his experience as a professional vocalist, stage actor, wedding singer, and worship leader, Adam will lead a thought-provoking discussion on moving beyond simply being a "Sunday morning cover band." Together, we’ll explore practical ways to refocus on what truly matters in worship. This session is designed for everyone—leaders and volunteers alike—to engage, reflect, and grow in their approach to leading worship.
