We are currently planning for Kids’ Camp to commence as originally planned. However, the future of this health crisis is uncertain and we will continue to make regular assessments of the situation and how it could affect Kids’ Camp. If anything changes, we will communicate them to you in a timely manner.
With the onset of COVID-19, we understand that cash flow might not be what it once was in your church. We have outlined some financial options below if your church is in need of an adjusted payment plan for this year.
DEPOSIT:
We understand parents may have a difficult time making a $50 deposit by our June registration deadlines. We will allow you to include your deposit in the payment that you bring to your week of Camp. This can give families an extra 3-4 weeks for securing funds.
FINAL PAYMENT:
Many churches depend on several fundraisers to reduce the amount children pay for camp. With the quarantine predicted to end only 8 weeks before Kids’ Camp begins, churches may have to hold fundraisers after Camp has ended. If your church needs more time to raise funds after camp season, you may postpone the remainder of your final payment until later in the fall season. We will invoice you monthly, and full payment must be received by December 1, 2020.
We hope that helps your church to participate in Kids’ Camp 2020! We are gearing up for a great Camp season, and we want to partner with you to see children’s lives transformed and changed this summer.
Please contact us by email if either of these options would benefit your church.

Yes, our office requires the following three items for every chaperone (18 years of age and older) who will attend with your group. These reports may take several weeks to receive, so please recruit your chaperones as early as possible. Please submit copies of these completed clearances with your registration packet:
PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Department of Human Services Child Abuse Clearance
FBI Criminal History & Fingerprinting OR a signed affidavit affirming chaperone is not disqualified from service

Possibly. This year, will mark the five-year anniversary of when Pennsylvania began requiring these types of background checks. This will mean that many individuals will be due for rescreening in 2020. Please be aware the turnaround time for receiving results may be severely delayed due to high volume. Plan to rescreen as early as possible.
