Greetings – I would like to register for Coaching 501 and 502 on Sept. 20, 21, 22, and 23rd, 2011. I have already made my room reservations but I cannot find where I can register. Please advise.

Hi Nate,

The PennDel District is providing a scholarship to its pastors and leaders to bring in the trainers.

As a participant, you would need to register at https://secure1.ag.org/EventRegistration/Events/2011BBCPennDel.aspx

Your cost would be $50.00 for the training materials and lunch.

Also, if you need housing, please contact Penny@penndel.org for a room reservation at the Bongiorno Conference Center.

What about the babies or children who are orphaned? James describes those who practice “pure religion” as those who take care of the widows and the orphans. Yet even our churches refuse to adopt the abadoned. Offering money to care for these orphans isn’t the same as bringing them into a home. A place of strength and refuge. A place where caring, healthy, guiding people offer unconditional acceptance and support. Where competition does not exhist…for there exhits an understanding that the adopted is no longer someone on the outside looking in but becomes one of the family and is able to not only accept love and support but learns to give it freely. Thus starting not only a rebirth and rekindling of one’s life, but begins a revolution. Where are the apotive parents? Where are the churches willing to welcome that young church already born?

Maybe it could Gerry.I recently learned that the A/G in India, which presently has 8K congregations (compared to our 12K in the US) has upped it's 12 year church planting goal from 25K new churches to 50K.Shouldn't we ask ourselves why that would sound so preposterous to us in the US? Why does it take everything we have to just stay even?

I hear you, Gerry.I'm afraid I lost my optimism for this over the past year or two–not whether it would pass or not, but whether it would make the difference one might have hoped for.It seems the only thing left is massive (deep and wide) repentance…of God's people (2 Chr. 7:14). We would have to lose all of our corporate pride and be truly broken. I wonder if that is possible…
